Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the FitBite iOS and watchOS app and the fitbite.dev website (together, the "Service"), operated by FitBite (Arda Can Güvendi) — contact: hello@fitbite.dev. By using FitBite you agree to these Terms.

The Service

FitBite is a nutrition and activity tracking tool: you log meals (by photo, barcode, search or manually), track water, weight and activity, and receive AI-generated estimates, coaching suggestions and reports. Some features require an account; some require an active subscription.

Not Medical Advice

FitBite is a tracking tool, not a medical service. Nothing in the app — including AI estimates, coaching messages and meal plans — is medical, dietary or health advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional. Always consult a doctor or dietitian before making significant changes to your diet or exercise, especially if you have a medical condition or an eating disorder history.

AI-Generated Content

Calorie and macro values produced from photos, barcodes or text are estimates generated by AI and food databases. They can be wrong or incomplete. You are responsible for verifying values that matter to you (for example for medical reasons). AI meal plans and suggestions are generic and do not account for allergies or conditions unless you verify them yourself.

Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials safe, and be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country). You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile > Delete account); deletion is permanent.

Subscriptions and Billing (FitBite Pro)

FitBite offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions ("Pro"), sold through Apple's App Store and charged to your Apple account. The price is shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage or cancel them in your App Store account settings. Purchases can be restored with "Restore purchases". Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store rules. If an introductory or trial offer is available, its terms are shown at purchase; unused trial time is forfeited when you upgrade.

Free Version, Limits and Advertising

The free version includes a limited number of AI scans per day (shared between camera and barcode) and may show rewarded ads before an AI scan. Watching an ad to completion unlocks the scan; if ads are unavailable, the scan may proceed without one. Daily limits, quotas and the set of free features may change over time. Pro subscribers get unlimited AI features and no ads.

Fair Use and Conduct

You agree not to abuse the Service: no attempts to bypass quotas or paywalls, no automated scraping or bulk requests, no reverse engineering, no uploading unlawful content, and no manipulating leagues or XP through fraudulent activity. We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service or harm other users.

Intellectual Property

The app, its design, mascot, texts and software are owned by FitBite or its licensors. You keep ownership of the content you enter; you grant us the limited licence needed to operate the Service (for example, processing a meal photo to produce an estimate).

Availability and Changes

We work to keep FitBite available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Features may change, be added or removed. We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in the app, and continued use after changes means acceptance.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, FitBite is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for decisions made in reliance on estimates and suggestions in the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
